Welcome Open Streets

Every Sunday from June to September merchants of the historic Bedford Stuyvesant gather to host Open Streets, a family oriented cultural summer festival featuring BIPOC owned businesses in the local community.

Brought to you by the Bridge Street Development Corporation in partnership with the Tompkins Avenue Merchant Association, otherwise known as T.A.M.A.

Excluding holiday weekends, the award-winning Open Streets initiative will run between the hours of 12pm-6pm for 16 Sundays from June 4th until October 1st.

Rules & Regulations

In order to support fantastic merchants while also providing families free access to open space and great programming, we can’t do this alone. We need the community’s help to ensure that Open Streets and all affiliated programming is safe and successful. Please be sure to read the rules, and remember: #WeAllLiveHere

Rules and regulations. No illegal alcohol, drugs, or vendors; no littering, no double parking.
